Political analysis of SCOTUS decision [Obergefell v Hodges]
I humbly acknowledge that yes we live in the world's greatest country. We have enduring freedoms because we had strong talented and dedicated 'Christian' founding fathers who were able to articulate and promote freedom at all costs to their fellow countrymen. That, the tenaciousness and steadfastness, precisely enables me, a 'Christian' fellow countrymen, to articulate and be steadfast in properly attempting to preserve this perfect union [USA]. As I see it, USA is falling lock, stock, and barrel into the preys of socialism on the whims of perceived freedoms. That is the serious downfall and inescapable tragedy which is about to befall this great country [the governing powers of socialism]. The false ideals that freedom [liberty] belongs to all types of personal preferences, void subjectivity, and elusive higher orientations. Do you get my point now?
As I reflect on last weeks tragic SCOTUS rulings, we did not get a promise of a brighter and freer future. We did not get a hope fore enduring freedoms. We got more strife and more inequities and more vain pleasures at the cost of good articulated defense strategies with Obergefell (et al) v. Hodges (et al). I see immorality and promiscuity and deviant lifestyle portrayed like never before in the public arena and on city streets all because 'GAY PRIDE' has scored a victory. Is that what freedom meant to our 'Christian' founding fathers? Is that what brave soldiers died for throughout all skirmishes, battles, and all wars to preserve a more perfect union? Is that what our children learn in the name of Civics and Social Studies? To be exposed to sexual immorality as a freedom in the name of constitutional justice [equal protection]. If that is the new symbol for freedom that replaces 'Iwo Jima' and Normandy, and Gettysburg, and Yorktown, then we are marching to judgement at all extremes.
The grace and power presented at the Second Continental Congress on July 4, 1776 should give all of us, free Americans, the same ability to live and act and preserve gracefully this perfect union. This grace comes from God alone and He enables me to live in this divided nation and ability to talk and share good sounding ideals the retain this perfect union. This grace does not mean to alienate and criminalize anyone for matters of race, creed, religion, sex, and such like. It does mean to have to restrain evil and sexual deviance and immorality in all it perverted forms, not just homosexuality. So, since many brave soldiers in Washington's army paid the ultimate price for freedom of religion and freedom of speech and such other freedoms and believing that 'all men are created equal', I pronounce that I will attempt to preserve this perfect union at all costs, too.

Political unrest...to "King" Obama
Well the Republicans now have their chance to repeal Obama's
policies. They will soon have majority in both houses of Congress.
This will be their time to unravel Obamacare. Yet what does Obama
do. He decides to dictate and make executive decisions boldly in the face
of political unrest. This is the case with the executive order on immigration.
Obama is deceitful and wants to fight his Republican enemies instead of working
with them.
I think Obamacare should be
repealed. This should be the first item of business that Congress should
start with in January. It would pass through both the House and the
Senate. Then going onto President Obama at the white house for his
veto. The House could then vote to override the veto but the Senate needs
67 votes yet it doesn’t have that.
Obama is acting like a king. He signed
and issued the executive order to allow about 5 million aliens to become USA
citizens. He did this in spite of Congress not passing legislation for
immigration. I think he should have to face consequences for not
following the constitution. So, I think the Republican leaders should
openly rebuke Obama with a resolution from both houses that clearly says he
violated the constitution and congressional laws and that any future executive
orders which do the same thing will be cause for impeachment.
Congress should also pass new legislation
to defund this new immigration action. With full Republican majority
soon, they have the power of the purse to put a stop to spending money for
waste, fraud, and abuse that immigration officials do with this executive
order. Now since the immigration application is fee based, congress can
only raise the fee say times ten to prevent these poor illegal aliens from
becoming citizens. They are stealing jobs away from good American
citizens anyhow. America is rapidly declining in good paying jobs.
The rich illegals who would afford to pay the high application fee can be
allowed to become citizens.
The excess amount of money not being used
to process applications for illegals can be used to pay border security.
The USA borders need to made more secure to stop illegals from coming here.

Political struggles (both Democrats and Republicans)
The political scene is much newsworthy lately the last month or so. Would not you agree coming out of the Untied States capital: Washington DC, scandals concerning IRS, AP reporting, AG Holder poor performance, etc.? What is particularly happening with politics today?
I think that these scandals are the tremors of a political-quake for both parties in this country. I have to say that our great country is so close to financial ruin that we are being blinded and side swiped with petty political maneuverings, and that there will soon come the day of reckoning (financially). It is evident that our leaders are drowning in a swamp of monetary decay that there is NO way to swim out of it. There are a few good elected leaders who see this eminent problem and are sounding the “trumpet” that we will be lost soon if we don’t change our financial direction soon.
One good leader, who I see serving with his whole heart, is Representative Paul Ryan. I am not here to promote any republican agenda or democrat errors, but I do see Ryan being one of the few true hearted politicians with genuine leadership abilities. Now, contrary of serving true to the heart, I am gravely disappointed in Speaker Boehner. And this is where I find fault with Republicans. I think that the speaker has let his authority and pride go to his head. He is not serving the American people very well, because he doesn't stand for much of anything. He wavers in the face of political opposition. Whereas congressman Ryan firmly stands upon his heart driven beliefs which are to save this great country from ultimate financial ruin.
Back to the scandals I spoke about. American are faced with a new tax (OBAMACARE) and the IRS is to collect these taxes from poor middle class citizens who cannot buy health insurance. The same IRS that is filled with radical political people preying on conservative groups of people. Where is the outcry from the Republicans to remind us that Obama has broken his promise to not raise any new taxes on middle class Americans. Middle class citizens are going to bear the heaviest strain of new taxes overall with OBAMACARE. I want to hear an organized voice from Republicans to proclaim Obama’s lie and even lead rallies to rein in the Democrat power base. I am sorely disappointed in the failure of Republicans to be so silent on these issues.
So, I am going to write to our Republican leaders and ask them to truly evaluate their motives. We need leaders with heart passion to overcome Democrats.

Evolution is only to benefit anti-God theory.
My personal observation about evolution is that it is false theory. I am an amateur astronomer and I have a refractor telescope. This telescope has allowed me to view most of our planets in the solar system, especially Jupiter and Saturn. One night a few years back, I set my telescope up and pointed to the bright light (Jupiter) in the ecliptic arc around earth. It took me a little while to finally focus in on the planet, but once I did, I was astonished at the magnificence of that planet. There are moons orbiting Jupiter and I was able to focus in on a few of those moons. After about two hours of my amateur observations, I still was in awe of that planet and how it plays a significant part of holding the solar system in orbit also. I came to realize that the orbital and gravitational forces of Jupiter help spin the other planets around the Sun. Because it is so large its gravity has a secret and hidden force upon earth and the other planets around. What I came to ultimately understand by observing Jupiter and its moons is how these planetary bodies were precisely placed by an intelligent designer. That intelligent designer is who I choose to name God.
Now fast forward to my general biology class in college which I am presently in. In biology we are learning about the orbital forces of electrons around a nucleus, which contains protons and neutrons. In life science biology, we see that a cell is the basic unit of life, but it is amazingly so tiny as far as our human body is concerned. Now, in order to see these small cells, we need a microscope to look into the unknown ‘world’ of cell structure. A microscope does just the opposite than a telescope but yet all with glass lenses in the focusing apparatus. Microscopes and telescopes do about the same function and that is to magnify the source. Yet the argument remains that the intelligent designer (God) allowed man to use lenses to proclaim his glory.
For me to try and believe evolution is like throwing a rock into a pond and eventually that rock will come back as a frog. I find that very objectionable and ignorant. Yet colleges and universities continue to trust in faulty science of Darwinism whose main purpose was to reject God as author and designer of all things. Over the years, it has now been convenient for schools to promote evolution as fact just to rid God of the system. Man has replaced a creator God with his own god, named evolution. That I must say is idolatry.

Into the wild (my review 12/07/2012)
This was a good movie to watch. It taught me about why one human being
(main character Chris McCandless) was driven by arrogance and shameless
attitude; regardless, of other humans warning him to settle down. I enjoyed the
natural realm that Alaska offered the viewers. Someone with the mental
attitudes of Chris would go north to this state to try an escape civilization. This is
probably the last non-domesticated region on the globe. With respect to the
Chris’ family survivors, I will just simply say, “My heart and thoughts go to you in
true condolences for your loss.”
Here is a young man with plenty of good talents, but because of some Bi-polar
disease of his mental faculties, he ultimately loses his life on a suicide trip to
Alaska. Bi-polarism is a real mental illness and many people have lost life from
suicide due to this mental illness. Bi-polarism is a manic-depressive mental
illness. A person with this hereditary disease can function effectively in society if
medication and proper therapy is constantly given day by day all through life.
Unfortunately for Chris, his thinking was faulty from early on and whether or not
his parents failed in recognizing this, Chris exhibited aspects of Bi-polarism
probably from his youth and throughout education years. However, in the ‘90s,
that mental illness was not fully understood yet. Many psychological studies
were still going on. Now, more than 15 years later, the mental health doctors
can recognize early on the onset of this mental disease. That is the benefit of
passing time. Professionals learn from others.
So, I pity the McCandless family. Their loss hopeful makes someone else aware
of the dangers of mental illness gone awry. If, I could say one thing, and that
would be lets all be more aware of those around suffering with mental illness and
show a caring heart. “…love covers a multitude of sins” (1 Peter 4:8 NIV)

The Climythology of America
An essay written by David M. Ludlum (1910-1997)
My first impression of this essay was very interesting. The title says it all too. The word climythology is in the title. I find that amusing. How do we define climythology? A quick search on the internet for anything to tell me what it means comes up futile. So, I can say what it means to me.
Does climythology mean a fake, or mythical, research of climates? Does it mean anything about climates? Or could it mean something about religious beliefs of ancient gods? I will try to discern what it means to me.
The author, Ludlum, was characteristically described in Wikipedia as a meteorologist, entrepreneur, historian and author. His Alma mater was Princeton University. So as someone who graduated with a doctorate, why would he phrase a title with an unknown word? I sit and ponder that as it causes me much consternation. I am attempting to throw my thinking into this without castigating Mr. Ludlum post-mortem. I say he was a very honorable man and contributed a lot to professional societies. What troubles me is why environmental societies take his work as the direction that the world is rapidly “going to hell in a hand basket” as a grandmother would say to a wayward child. His essays entail much about past American winters and other weather related stories. What can we render as truth to snapshots of American history? We can gather a lot of data points, but that still leaves me wondering why the climate is changing.
So, the definition of climythology to me might mean some environmentalists are engaged in promoting mythical facts about the changing weather or climate. Or, is our climate really changing due to “Americans” reign of industrialization of the planet. Have our superior talents, such as Mr. Ludlum demonstrated, made us the culprit to climate change and higher CO2 in the atmosphere. Americans share this planet with everyone else and everyone else wants to take on the consumerism of our society.
I was in Germany in 1978 as a 9 year old lad, and I personally observed an automobile driver take her “car phone” and dial a telephone number and talk to her son at their house. To me that was the most amazing thing to witness even way back then. That was in Europe with a civilian person, while here in America, only military or government officials were allowed to use “car phones”. Now in this day (2012) everyone across the globe uses a mobile phone. Are mobile phones contributing to GHG? I venture to say that they particularly are. This is because they are electronic devices and must be energized with electricity. From the battery being recharged to all computer and other electronic devices that transmit radio signals to and from cell towers, all this “stuff” uses electrical energy which must come from some other energy source. Now, you tell me who is going to be the first to eliminate mobile phone devices from consumers. Oh there has to be a starting point somewhere.
This is why environmentalism can be a radical approach to changing our planet. I say we need a “balanced” approach in that everyone learns to respect Mother Nature with all her ways of “feeding” humans and giving us a more comfortable living space. Will it be Americans who bring an end to the world as the last and bitter enemy to be destroyed? I vouch NO, by no means are we the only culprits to destruction. Everyone person alive contributes to GHG; therefore, everyone should take a part in first learning to respect mother earth, with all the natural forces she has to play with.
So, Climythology, is defined by me to mean, as in the days of ancient Greeks and Romans, who worshipped false gods of the universe, that our climate is destined to change just because of growing population and the ever present “large” toll on resources for our needs. Those ancient gods eventually disappeared from people’s lives, and so, we all have to be careful to know who the true God is. He supremely controls all things, including Mother Earth; and at His appointed time, He will make a day of reckoning for all peoples, not just Americans.

Personal vibes...inconvenient truth
The movie is over and I am finally glad that is so. I actually feel sick to my gut after watching so much arrogance and faulty statements of Mr. Gore. I posted my comments on a previous blog post in regards to what I think is faulty claims he made in the movie. After watching this movie, I will change approach to how I personally feel toward Mr. Gore and his attitude.
Mr. Gore is a politician. And I ask the question, “Who really believes politicians anymore?” I was once told by an elderly gentleman the humorous definition of a politician. Here is what he said. Break down the word politics. You will get “poli” meaning many. And then you will get “tic” meaning blood sucking critter. So in all reality you bring those two parts back together and you will get this: “many blood sucking critters” now, do politicians really suck blood. No, but they would like to suck ever last ounce of money from you which in reality money is the blood of governmental systems. Agree. So, yes they are trying to suck ever last ounce of blood from every one of us. This is the basis of my outright criticism of Mr. Gore.
In the movie, Inconvenient Truth, he says some very startling things to jar us awake about planet earth. Such as “connecting the dots” in reference about the increasing use of petroleum and global warming. OK, there is the connection; however, I would like to pose this question to him and everyone else. Has Mr. Gore “connected the dots” of his soul to the eternal after life? And have you done the same? Because as I watched this movie, Mr. Gore said the sea level would rise 20 feet higher if all the ice would melt in the arctic regions. This is a prophecy so to speak and a prophet is only a true prophet if what he says comes true. Well, my mind is telling me that he is a false prophet. Can you really comprehend the complete devastation to the earth should the oceans rise 20 feet? There would be major loses of life in major metropolitan cities all around the globe. Therefore, should that happen, I sincerely pray for those lost souls and myself, too. Eternity is knocking at your door.
Also at almost the very end, Mr. Gore says this is a moral issue. He, just before that statement, said it can be corrected with political changes. Now, in American society, there is this prevailing thought that you cannot legislate morality. So, how can these changes that he proposes be made into effect without a major shift in political propaganda? It cannot be done. His morality would have to be legislated. And isn’t that against the prevailing American societal thinking. Yes.

Post-election one-week past analysis
My critical analysis of the past general election is weighing heavy on my mind. I exercised my civic duty on November 6 so I feel entitled to voice a public position on the outcome of this horrific election cycle. First, I must say that I am dreadfully disappointed that voters have re-elected President Barack Obama. Now, I have got that off my chest and you all see that I am not an Obama supporter. Was I a Romney supporter? Ummm, no, I really was not either although I felt compelled to vote for him strictly on the premise that he was the best running candidate. And this brings up my next point: America has a democracy formed government in that elections are held and citizens are offered a choice of who to vote for. Unfortunately, we are not always given the “best” candidate to run for office. So, now you realize that I voted Republican. I have always voted Republican over the last 7 presidential voting cycles, since 1988. I have always felt that Republicans have had the best running candidates. I grew up in the Reagan years and I honestly say that there has not been a grander politician than Mr. Reagan. God bless his soul.
So, what is the critical problem now one week after the election. The overall climate of political, social, religious, fiscal, etc. things is simply devastating our governmental institutions. The whole realm of life is bombarded with evil and sinful ways of man. This whole world is dark and dreary. Can you really find a resolute and calm place anywhere. Some people say that if Mr. Romney had been elected they would have left America to go to Mexico or Australia, or other places. And some other people said the same thing if Mr. Obama would be elected. Are they really leaving now. No, probably not; because in all reality there is no other safer place to go. America has been the best nation ever on the face of the earth. Yet, I feel we are not fully appreciating and being thankful to God that this is so. God has allowed these blessings to be. Do you believe that?
In conclusion, I simply say that all should be aware that it is God who sets up governments and it will be his privilege to take any government down. He rules supremely over all the affairs of the world. All conducted in the natural elements, which includes the human physical mind [brain] to be intelligent to vote. There is also the spiritual realm that cause men to think good or evil. This is with everyone. No one is exempt from thinking good or evil. We are fully responsible and accountable for our deeds. This is what American who voted for Mr. Obama will have to live with. His changes in government and policies will affect all Americans. Therefore, I choose to live faithful to my higher power and that is God. He will control all things.

INCONVENIENT TRUTH --- radical environmentalism
I am not a fan of Al Gore. With that said, I suppose this has terribly offended environmentalist. Now wait a minute, ok. Let me explain why. For me, I find it hard to believe in the radical agenda of environmentalism. I simply have major concerns about their agenda and rhetoric which is politically charged. I think their propaganda is filled with major errors and factual mistakes. This especially includes Al Gore’s “Inconvenient Truth”. As I have read the essay by Stefan Lovgren in our English class, my common sense tells me there are serious claims of Gore that even me, logically thinking, cannot be true.
Here is the first claim that I find preposterous. Global warming will also cause the introduction of new, invasive species. This is contradictory even in itself with the belief that this planet is on a course of destruction because of humans, as Gore purports. How can this claim be true? Invasive species is so open ended. Anything can fall into that category because this world is destined to fail. There will be scientific discoveries of “new” species as time goes on. Scientists are in the business to make discoveries upon their research. There will be mutations of lower forms that create havoc upon humans. Does that mean that global warming caused them? I find that to be a wild claim.
Another claim is that sea levels will rise by 20 feet with the loss of shelf ice in Greenland and Antarctica. Seriously can you envision 20 feet of rise in ocean waters? It cannot even be calculated the enormous volume of water to raise the sea level by 20 feet. The magnitude of that amount is so large that it is not possible to happen. Sea level is the mean gradient to base elevations on. If that would change even by a minute amount, the landscapes and horizons all around the globe would change too. That means where there are coastal areas now, they would become flooded. This would change the numbers in the equation to calculate the volume of water and make it even more astronomically large. This is a complete false claim, and therefore, I reason that Gore is spreading false rumors and injecting fear into people’s minds that humans are evil beings.
Gore’s claim that the Arctic Ocean could be ice-free by summer of 2050. He said that in 2006 and now evidence declares that there is absolutely no change yet in the conditions of the Arctic Ocean. We are now 6 years closer to 2050 and if the ocean is to be ice-free by then the temperature of the whole world has to change almost 100 degrees higher. If that would happen of course humans would be eradicated from the earth. Our summer of 2012 was one of the hottest on record and yet nothing has changed in the Arctic. I will even predict that this will be a very severe cold and wet winter. Reversing any trends of global warming.
So, in conclusion, just stop and think of these claims. Why does an environmentalist want to condemn the practices of us humans? I say it all stems from the theory of evolution. Darwinism is entrenched into radical minds to believe that humans come from lower life forms and they are ‘hell’ bent on destroying the planet. The propagation of fear among us gives rise to believing a myth from only the higher intelligent beings. The unintelligent humans must be controlled and forced to convert to radical environmentalism, either through government reforms or rhetorical dogma. All books and scientific evidence contrary to their beliefs are to be destroyed. So, whatever might happen in the future as to earth science and environmentalism, I will stand to the last end not believing false ideology.

The Zero moment point
English class (10/24/2012)...
I have reflected on our in class discussion of this writing excerpted from The Perfect Storm, by Sebastian Junger. Our small group was given two topics to consider. The first question was to identify in the essay as to what was the zero-moment point. The other question was to identify the breaking point.
This essay, by Junger, is about the sinking of Andrea Gail, a fishing vessel from the North Atlantic. It went down in October, 1991. Honestly, I only faintly remember this news worthy story. A movie was produced by Warner Bros. with the name based on Junger’s story.
We found in the essay the zero-moment point as it pertains to marine architects, as the point that sailors realize they are going down. A point of no return. For this boat they were not even able to signal distress (EPIRB). Then we found the break-point. This is the personal realization that our mind and body suddenly goes into a state of sever panic. They finally succumb to death through drowning. The last moments of self-reflection and giving up.
Well, me being a middle aged adult at 44 years old, I thought back over the far distant past and a tragic memory came flooding my mind. You know it is one of those blacked out things that I wanted to hide for all these years. Here is my hidden dark memory.
I was say 10-11 years old in 1980. We had just started new school in August-September. But at our house (in the country, on the farm) that week, we had an unusual thing happen. Our family had puppies born by our lady dog. Her name was Tina. Tina was a very favorite dog to us, kids. I remember our neighbor’s dog wandering to our farm about 2 months previously, and I witnessed the mating of those two dogs. Wow, that was incredible for a 10 year old boy to watch, me who was just beginning the adventure each one of us goes through from adolescents to youth (a.k.a puberty). The farm life is a wonderful way to experience the truths of growing up, so to speak. Animals have instincts of copulation just as well as humans. Fortunately, on the farm, it is more sacred to witness that reproduction event.
So, any way, Tina had a litter of 12 puppies. Now that was fertility for a first time birthing. My father, whom I respect to the utmost, had a serious decision to make. His thoughts were that Tina would not be able to care for that many puppies as her first birthing event. So, he and mom decided to eliminate five of those puppies while we were at school. My parents were smart enough to know that us kids would be affected in some way with our emotions when we would suddenly find out that five puppies were gone. That is precisely what happened. We came home from school and after getting off of the school bus, we all went directly to the garage to see the puppies. Upon seeing the litter box, we all discovered at the same moment that five puppies were not there. Dad and mom were standing there, too. And they were watching all of us for our reaction. For me, it was a horrible out burst of wailing and anger that I had ever done before. I remember seeing my dad, and when I released that screaming, he grabbed me and held me tightly close to his chest. He was strong and would not let me go. I fought him fiercely and struggled to get free.
Eventually, I calmed down and we talked about the situation. He explained that it hurt him hard too, to eliminate those five puppies. He and mother had made a careful decision and to the best of their thinking, they really felt they had to do that. Dad never said what they did to eliminate those puppies, but my brother, a year old then me, told me that he thought they drowned them. I cringed at him saying that.
Well after about a week of inner turmoil over those events, I had a rebellious moment and found a one week old kitten on the farm; and, I drowned that kitten. That is my experience with drowning. I confess now that I regret and feel remorse for drowning that kitten. I am forgiven I know by the grace of God, but the strange inner feeling comes racing back to me, because of this essay. I hope others who read this will read with tenderness also. We all have some dark secret in our far off past that will come flooding back into memory. Release that memory to someone (as confession) and you will feel better about yourself.

The blank slate versus predespositon to fault
Well, comrades, I have to confess that I really don't know a lot about this controversy as stated in the title. Our English class had to read the story essay, The Blank Slate, by Steve Pinker. I read this and laughed at some of his statements. As I read through this essay it didn't take me long to sense his passion, but I also sensed a real arrogance from Pinker. This arrogance is notable when he quotes clippings [from another source] about male sexuality and their goal to orgasm. It appears to me that Pinker is trying to lay a foundation of confrontation with his readers, regardless of the gender. He knows, like we all know, that sex is a delicate topic, except for when you are with Hollywood entertainers. Most all of us cower or blush when we talk about sex. I don't think Pinker does. This is my basis that he is either very passionate about the blank slate or he is plainly arrogant about his analysis. Then, when I read all the way to the end, he did not really reach a conclusion as his thesis. But then again, in his title he really just leaves it open ended for us to decide.
I believe we have a predisposition to fault. Why do I believe this. I believe in the sovereignty of God and that He created everything. He created everything perfectly and good, and all within a 6 day period of 24 hours each. OK, does that make you laugh. Pinker probably does. I admit I do not know the actual complete processes that God used to create everything in that time frame, but I do believe it would not be beyond His sovereignty and power to do it. I do believe God reasoned everything out and perfected order when He created this universe and especially our minute planet Earth. Then upon this planet he chose to make man as the crowning of His creation. So, I ask the question, does man have authority to govern the earth? Or is there some other being (species) that can trump our power. I think we know the real answer is no there isn't. We, men and women are given dominion to rule over everything here. However, we also have to deal with evil and those incredibly dark forces which want to ultimately destroy us. The Mr. Evil Enemy #1 is Satan (the devil).
I believe God created our fist parents (Adam and Eve) and He made them beautiful and perfect. So unfortunate was that they sinned in the perfect garden after Satan tempted them to disobey God's command. First Eve was deceived then Adam fail too, by a fault of cowardice, in which he listened to Eve and Satan and partook of that forbidden fruit, also. And now this is where every form of evil originates from, Our human anatomy and also the whole world (let me say: the whole of everything) is tainted with sin [evil, fallenness, etc.] and that humans have become prey to Satan as his #1 enemy, too. For, you see, God [Creator] can not permit sin in His presence, ever. The Garden of Eden was closed (eternally) and the two first parents lost that perfect dwelling, exiled out of the garden, into now this evil fallen world. They had sex, of course, and soon a baby was born named Cain.
Cain, from the moment of conception, was also then tainted with sin. Cain was born and then Abel, his brother a short time later. Cain slew his brother in a moment of rage [sin] because he was jealous that Abel received a greater blessing from God. Doesn't that sound like real evil? Yes, you get the picture now. If we had a blank slate, then how did Cain learn to murder his brother. He didn't learn this act. The propensity to do evil was in his blood; and, now, it is also in everyone of us. We all have a predisposition to fault. No one is exempt from sin and its wickedness. The truth is we all have evil in us. How much evil? Well, enough to condemn us to hell.
God wants to save mankind from their wickedness, because He loves us. His ultimate love for us was sending His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to this Earth, to die and shed his blood as the final atonement for 'ALL' sin; and, that we now can be set free from the condemnation to Hell. We, all mankind, must accept the Lord Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Savior to be set free from sin and the destiny of Hell. There is no 'GOOD' [righteousness] in us to think we can make it on our own to Heaven. The fallacy of a blank slate fails when we realize we, all alone, are responsible for our deeds. We acknowledge that we are sinners, we repent from our sins, and confess Jesus Christ as our only Lord and Savior. This predisposition to fault is removed, gone forever, annihilated by the blood of Jesus. We are reconciled to God because he see His Son's blood and the imputed righteousness upon us. This is the only salvation [hope] we have. From that moment of decision to accept Jesus Christ into our life, we then have a 'Blank Slate'. All sin is covered and we are set free. hallelujah

Food, Inc. what a tragedy
This week our whole class watched Food, Inc. on DVD and I must say I thoroughly enjoyed the video. Wow! This documentary really opened my eyes to American culture of consumerism. What I mean by consumerism is that we indulge in terrible lifestyle choices which will ultimately be our own ruin. Now, I love America and Americans. We are the greatest nation that ever existed. We have so many riches and prosperity that we simply can not help but indulge in consumerism. Everything around us has been ploy to our satisfactions. And these things have played game with our thoughts, habits, and environment.
Now, where have we so strayed from American political doctrine that comes from:

Isn't that awful, that we as Americans, have allowed our culture to give us the basic elements of survival but yet, we are being 'poisoned' with carcinogens and toxic elements from our very food we ingest. This is terrible. We need to change first our own thinking and then our habits and then... Well, you see the whole of the whole for all of us. We are living all together on this planet and we need to utilize whatever we can to change our culture for the better.
I submit that I will do my part to eat better and also participate in spreading the word about our food.

Have these truths from Jefferson really caused our own downfall. I emphatically believe these truths, but humbly admit I am my own worst enemy for falling prey to self indulgences of food. I believe I am created by a creator (God) and He has put in me [everyone else] the most important aspect of survival and that is eating. This is not an evolved form of nature that some how we want to eat and eat more and more and more. But, I do submit that I have fallen victim to the American consumerism ideal in which we want sustenance and we want it fast and abundantly That is where we have departed from the truth of life sustainability with eating. May I predict that if we continue this culture that Food, Inc.is propagating, it might very well be our demise. This video proclaims the 'poisoning' parts of our food and the path it takes from the beginning on the farm through processing and then at the grocery shelf, fast food counter, or restaurant kitchen. Our food takes a path of 'torture' and we are victims of that 'poisoning' it accumulates along the way.We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their creator with certain inalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.

Nuke energy...is it up to date?
The electrical power industry here in Illinois, or for all America, is not getting their fair share of popular news plugs from reporters. I think we are on the verge of a disaster with a major breakdown in the electrical power providers. My persuasion is that, us, consumers of electricity, have forgotten that we are at an all time usage for mega-watt power per day all across the land. Yet, we simply continue to "burn" power with out regard to where it comes from and how it is actually produced.
Well, as I learned from early grade school that energy really is not produced and can not be ended. It is simply here all the time, and we, mankind, can only transmit or exchange energy from one source to another. In this exchange we either get productive uses or losses. Americans are greatly skilled at knowing precisely how we can gain production from energy exchange. I say, Americans, and that means, yes, all of us have contributed to our society and we must be cognizant that we are a large community sharing rewards of prosperity. This prosperity has come with many hours of hard work and research each and every day. Electricity was discovered by Benjamin Franklin so long ago, as the story goes with him flying a kite in a thunderstorm and getting jolted with electricity.
Electricity is an un-natural phenomenon. This is because it is all theory of atoms and floating charges in orbit around a nucleus. So, electricity has always existed from the beginning. It is just that we can make productive use of that energy source after this discovery. But of course over the years, there were many, many more scientist and engineers to study and make good use of the beneficial transfer of energy (a.k.a electricity).
So, why now do we think the whole world will suddenly disappear if we use too much electricity. Well, electricity wont make that happen, but the primary source of energy that electricity comes from could. And that is from nuclear energy. Are you afraid of nuclear energy? Honestly, not me. Oh, but maybe a little.
Nuclear energy is a double edged sword so to speak. It is easy to produce, somewhat, because the natural resources (e.g. uranium and plutonium) are moderately abundant on earth and we only use very small portions to create a large power transmission exchange. These radioactive minerals are divided by nuclear reaction and when this happens there is a 'chain-reaction' that creates tremendous heat, by virtue of the laws of physics. This heat is captured in large containment vessels filled with water that then boils and produces steam power. This steam power turns large generators which then produce electricity form rotation of atoms around a nucleus, that is the core of the generator. There has to be motion set in place.
So, does that process and stuff all scare you? Not for me. We need this resource, nuclear power, as the 'cheapest' source of energy power. This in the end will be the safest and cleanest way to create electrical power for many generations to come.

Again the collaborative effects of Federal land grabbing...
There continues to be an asserted effort by small energized radicals, serving both as lobbyists and benefactors in positions created by federal legislation. They make appropriations amendments on bills for saying to protect America's diverse land cultures. This happened in the not too distant past with Congress merely appropriating money to go for purchasing large acreages in western states, all in the name of "conservation". Two organizational names that come up that have received these monies is Friends of Nevada Wilderness and Southwest Utah Wilderness Alliance. These are non-profit organizations and yet instead of them doing their own fund raising to acquire these private lands, the business operators are given federal dollars to purchase real estate for the federal government. This is so far off the track of our founding fathers ideals that I am implored to vent my frustrations here on my blog about the ever encroaching beaucractic arms of the national government to control our lives. So, now I say that we need to be watchful of Big Brother more.
The Congress, in a quick role call vote in the past years, wrote appropriations in to law so that these few people will buy up large land segments all in the name of "conservation". What I honestly think is happening with special small environmental groups is the belief that they want control of our private lives. Whether it be to the ways and means procedure in Congress for their spending, or constantly lobbying Senators for legislation to get the power grab.

Kankakee River...beautiful...
I have gone places around the county and state and am terribly upset that we all are not being careful enough to keep the grounds clean. There is pollution all around us. The Daily Journal had a little blurb notice in the Friday paper regarding river clean up. see link here:
I want to participate in this worthy adventure. I need the exercise and feeling of hope for our environment. So, in conclusion lets keep our river clean!

My English class....intro...
I am taking English I class at Kankakee Community College. This blog is an ongoing assignment to each student for the purpose of personal expressions. I believe this is very good to do. Personally, I have had blog exposure in the past with my own blog, which incidentally, I did not keep up to date on and then lost even what it was. Now, I am back into this and with a greater passion to stay committed to post here.
I am enjoying this assignment thus far. It has and will teach me many things about reading, writing, and expression of personal views to the public via Internet. Basically, I had been a really private person and only listed few friends on social media sites (eg. Facebook, Linked-in, etc.), but now need to become more outgoing so that, not only me, but all those around me, take on our own identity in this world (esp. WWW). We are living in a very large, but small world, so to speak because so many inventions make all of us like immediate neighbors all around the world. Whether it be mechanical means, like transportation, or telecommunications, like phones and cell phones, and now the WWW. All these inventions make the world so much smaller and all peoples closely united in our living spaces. These social media sites have been useful to doing this; however, some people, like me can feel a major invasion of real privacy. And therefore, I need to overcome some of this and expose my true feelings. In spite of how controversial they may be.
So, today, this is my introduction to the world and especially my classmates, that I am here. And with a passion to open up.

Late summer rain
The delite of this late Summer rain. I am purely thankful for this refreshing drink of natures gift. Have I always appreciated the rain? NO. Truthfully, I generally have despised rain. Now, this summer taught me and others the precious value of rain.

August summer
Well, I am off running. What this is that I an an older adult returning to college and I must say that I am really thrilled and happy. I am enrolled at Kankakee Community College and have started my general studies into Paralegal course. This adventure in my life started back in May 2012 when I came to Kankakee to live in a men's homeless shelter on Fifth Avenue. You see, I had become homeless as a forty-three year old male because I lost my job in January. That was a temporary job anyway because in June 2011, I lost my REAL job as a truck driver. I was at fault to a vehicular accident (minor injuries) and so I was terminated. Time went on and I tried to pay bills but eventually lost everything back in May.
But, I chose to make a better life and put steps in place to change my painful ways and become a college student. I have always like legal affairs and once said to a friend in high school that maybe I should become a lawyer; but, failed to pursue that field. So, I am thankful that I can have a second chance at life and take up my full desire to be in the law field in one way or another. Kankakee Community College is one good accredited school that has the paralegal program, and I simply feel lucky to find it.
What does all this have to do with August summer? Well, going to college is the way that adults young and old turn over a new life and go after their dreams to make it in the world. This is like the summer past when trees blossomed in spring and offered shade in the summer and now slowly make the change to the fall season. Adults are like that, including me for sure. I had big dreams in my youth but for some reason failed to fullfill them. Now as life has gone by, I have changed and now appreciate the simple beauty of changing seasons.
So, I vow to hang in there and follow my new dream and that spring will come again.
